GoHighLevel LevelUp 2026: 7 Major Updates and How to Get Access

In Business Management, GoHighLevel by KathrineFLeave a Comment

GoHighLevel announced more than 300 releases during its October 27, 2026, LevelUp Day event. That’s a lot to sort through, especially when you’re trying to decide which updates will actually help your business.

Some changes are relatively small. Others expand what HighLevel can do, from hosting video meetings and managing events to organizing projects, building client apps, and understanding complex automations.

At Marketecs, we use HighLevel in our agency and through Marketecs Engine. What interests me isn’t the number of new features. It’s whether they can simplify marketing and business operations, connect processes, and reduce the number of disconnected tools a small team has to manage.

Here are the 7 LevelUp 2026 updates I’m watching most closely, what they mean for businesses, and how to get access.
One important consideration: some tools are agency-level privileges while others can be enabled directly for client subaccounts.

I went live shortly after the announcement to share my initial reactions. You can watch that recap below, and I’ll be adding more detailed tutorials as we test the new tools.

7 GoHighLevel LevelUp 2026 Features Worth Exploring

1. Workflow Maps: See How Your HighLevel Automations Connect

Anyone who has worked in a busy HighLevel account knows how difficult it can be to understand a complicated set of workflows. One automation adds a tag, another responds to the tag, another changes the opportunity stage, and a fourth sends the next message. Working out how everything connects takes time.

Workflow Maps is designed to make those connections visible. Its visual views show relationships among workflows and connected elements, while contact journeys and troubleshooting tools help trace what actually happened.

  • Explore connected workflows in visual 2D and 3D views.
  • Understand how forms, tags, calendars, pipelines, and other elements interact with automations.
  • Trace contact journeys and investigate workflow errors.
  • Use AI assistance to understand complex automation relationships.

Why it matters: Less time untangling existing workflows, faster troubleshooting, and better visibility for agencies maintaining complex client systems.

For an example of how interconnected automation supports a real sales process, see our guide to building automated lead and sales pipelines in GoHighLevel.

Access: HighLevel Founder Plan ($497/month). Agency-level users and administrators can use Workflow Maps in their accessible subaccounts. Subaccount-only users cannot use Workflow Maps themselves.

2. Meeting Rooms: Video Meetings Inside HighLevel

HighLevel’s new Meeting Rooms bring video conferencing closer to the calendars, contact records, and follow-up systems businesses already use.

The release includes reusable meeting rooms, meeting links tied to appointments, screen sharing, recordings, transcripts, and AI-generated meeting notes and summaries. The promise is a more connected meeting process instead of juggling scheduling software, a conferencing platform, and a separate follow-up workflow.

Why it matters: Consultants, coaches, trainers, and service businesses may be able to simplify their meeting technology and keep more client activity in one place.

I wouldn’t cancel Zoom or another existing tool without testing the details that matter to your team, including reliability, recording quality, guest experience, and participant limits. But this is an important alternative to explore.

Access: Founder Plan agencies can enable Meeting Rooms for eligible client subaccounts. Once enabled, agency-level and subaccount-only users can use the feature within those accounts.

3. Events: Registration, Tickets, and Attendee Management

The new Events module brings more of the event lifecycle inside HighLevel, from publishing an event to managing registrations, selling tickets, and checking in attendees.

  • Create event pages and offer free or paid registration.
  • Manage ticket types, capacity, and attendee details.
  • Send confirmations and event reminders.
  • Manage check-in using QR codes.
  • Connect event attendees to your existing CRM and follow-up processes.

Why it matters: Speakers, trainers, consultants, and businesses running workshops or webinars often rely on separate event tools. Having registration and follow-up in the same system can reduce duplicate contacts, extra integrations, and manual administration.

Access: HighLevel’s Labs interface currently identifies Events activation as a Founder Plan capability. Founder agencies can enable it for eligible subaccounts, where both agency and subaccount users can work with Events. Some accounts have shown inconsistent visibility during rollout, so seeing the menu item alone doesn’t confirm eligibility or activation.

4. Creator Studio: AI-Assisted Graphics and Marketing Content

Creator Studio is an AI-assisted environment for developing graphics, promotional materials, social media creative, images, and short video content directly within HighLevel.

Instead of moving between multiple tools to generate an image, make edits, and prepare it for publishing, more of that process can happen in the same platform where you’re managing campaigns.

Why it matters: Small marketing teams may be able to speed up routine content creation, especially when they don’t have a dedicated designer for every graphic.

As with any AI design tool, the first draft still needs someone checking brand consistency, accuracy, and whether the final piece communicates the right message.

Access: Creator Studio is available through Labs on all plans. Activation is managed at the subaccount level. Included AI usage and charges may vary by user type and subscription, so it’s worth checking the applicable billing rules before using it at scale.

5. Client App Builder: Create Custom Web and Mobile Experiences

Client App Builder is a different tool from Creator Studio. Instead of generating marketing graphics, it helps users develop customized client-facing applications and experiences using AI-assisted instructions.

Potential applications include branded client portals, member experiences, coaching resources, and web or supported mobile experiences that connect to HighLevel’s client portal ecosystem.

Why it matters: Service businesses may be able to create more tailored experiences without commissioning a traditional software development project. As with any emerging builder, the real test will be what it can reliably publish and maintain as needs become more complex.

Access: Client App Builder is visible and activatable in Labs on all plans, so it’s not restricted to the Founder Plan. Specific creation, editing, and publishing permissions depend on the user role and the current rollout.

6. Project Management: Manage Delivery Alongside Marketing and Sales

HighLevel already had basic tasks. The newer Project Management workspace is a broader system for organizing projects, workspaces, lists, tasks, ownership, due dates, and team collaboration.

It also introduces opportunities to connect project activity with other HighLevel processes through automations and AI-assisted task management.

Why it matters: Once someone becomes a client, the work doesn’t stop at closing a deal. There may be onboarding tasks, information collection, meetings, internal handoffs, and deliverables. Connecting that work to the CRM could reduce the number of systems a small team needs to keep updated.

Access: The new Project Management module is only available on the $497 Founder Plan in the Labs interface. Founder agencies can enable it for eligible subaccounts. Project-level visibility and user permissions should be checked as the rollout progresses; some new automation capabilities remain in beta.

7. The HighLevel Founder Plan: A New Way to Access and Resell Features

HighLevel has repositioned its former $497 Agency Pro/SaaS subscription as the Founder Plan. Existing $497 agencies transition to that offering, which combines the agency platform with additional tools and business-model benefits.

Relevant benefits include Workflow Maps for agency-level users, eligible client-facing modules such as Meeting Rooms and Project Management, SaaS Mode, rebilling with markup, and the opportunity to qualify for HighLevel’s new Partner Network.

The Partner Network is a separate benefit for qualifying Founder agencies interested in providing HighLevel-related services. HighLevel’s Certified Admin course is now free for everyone, but that certification alone does not mean someone is eligible for Partner Network participation.

There’s much more to unpack about this plan, so we’ll cover the details separately. For now, the most important point is this: Founder-only agency tools and Founder-enabled subaccount features are not the same thing. You need to know which kind of access you’re buying.

Other LevelUp Updates: Ticketing, AI Agents, and Integrations

Beyond these seven, several other announcements are worth keeping an eye on.

Ticketing is intended to provide a more structured way to handle support tickets, including ownership, status, and follow-up. This is not the same as selling event tickets. It appears in the announced Founder feature set and is part of the staged rollout; we’ll confirm its final user-access rules as it becomes available.

AI Agents and Ask AI are gaining more sophisticated capabilities, including improvements to agent memory, tooling, and actions across business data. It’s important to distinguish the free AI usage available to agency-level users from paid AI usage or subscriptions for subaccount-only users.

Integrations and workflows also received numerous updates. These may make it easier to connect HighLevel with external services and coordinate business processes, but availability can depend on the individual API, integration, or feature.

How to Get the New GoHighLevel Features

Some of the biggest LevelUp releases require a $497 Founder Plan at the agency level. But that doesn’t necessarily mean your business needs its own $497 agency subscription to use the client-facing features. There are two sensible paths, depending on what you plan to do with the platform.

Feature comparison chart: HighLevel Founder Plan at $497 per month versus Marketecs Engine Advanced at $297 per month, highlighting shared tools and agency-only Workflow Maps.

Option 1: HighLevel Founder Plan for Agency Owners and Software Resellers

$497/month directly through HighLevel

If you want to operate your own HighLevel agency, manage client accounts, resell software, or build recurring revenue around implementation and automation services, the Founder Plan is worth a close look.

  • Workflow Maps for eligible agency-level users.
  • HighLevel Partner Network eligibility, subject to qualification and acceptance.
  • SaaS Mode to package and manage client software subscriptions.
  • Rebilling with markup and additional options to monetize service delivery.
  • The ability to enable eligible Founder features for client subaccounts.

The $297 HighLevel Unlimited agency plan already provides multiple subaccounts, basic white-labeling, and certain rebilling functions. The Founder Plan adds important monetization and agency-management benefits, so the difference isn’t simply whether you can call the software your own.

Qualifying purchases through our HighLevel affiliate offer also include Marketecs resources designed to help you get the platform configured and put it to work.

Option 2: Marketecs Engine Advanced for Businesses That Want the Tools

$297/month through Marketecs Engine

What if you don’t want to operate your own software agency or resell HighLevel? You may not need to pay for a separate $497 Founder subscription.

Marketecs Engine is our marketing, CRM, and business automation platform built on HighLevel. Because Marketecs operates a Founder Plan agency, we can make eligible Founder-enabled client features available within Marketecs Engine accounts.

That includes capabilities such as Meeting Rooms, Events, and Project Management, with Ticketing and other eligible tools being evaluated as their availability is finalized. These are subject to release status, account enablement, and applicable usage charges.

You also get the core tools for CRM, funnels, websites, marketing automation, scheduling, messaging, and follow-up, plus access to Marketecs training, resources, and support.

The tradeoff is straightforward: a Marketecs Engine subaccount doesn’t grant you agency-only privileges such as Workflow Maps or Founder Partner Network eligibility. But if you just want the software for your own business, those may not be privileges you need.

Frequently Asked Questions About GoHighLevel LevelUp 2026

Are all the new GoHighLevel features available on every plan?

No. Some features are available across agency plans, while others require the Founder Plan. Agency-level and subaccount-only users may also have different access and billing rules.

Do I need to buy the Founder Plan to use Meeting Rooms, Events, or Project Management?

Not necessarily. These features can be enabled for eligible subaccounts under a Founder Plan agency, including qualified Marketecs Engine accounts. Activation and rollout status still matter.

Can a subaccount-only user use Workflow Maps?

No. Workflow Maps is an agency-level Founder feature. Agency users can work with it within their accessible subaccounts, but subaccount-only users don’t receive that permission.

Is Creator Studio available on the $97 HighLevel plan?

Yes. Creator Studio is available through Labs on lower-tier agency subscriptions as well as Founder. AI usage included with a plan is not necessarily the same for agency-level and subaccount-only users.

Is HighLevel certification free now?

Yes. The Certified Admin course is being offered free. Eligibility for the separate Founder Partner Network involves additional requirements and is not granted by certification alone.

Can Marketecs Engine users access Founder-enabled business features?

Yes, eligible client-facing features can be made available in Marketecs Engine subaccounts because Marketecs operates under a Founder Plan. Exact availability depends on enablement, feature rollout, and any applicable usage charges.

Make the New GoHighLevel Features Work for Your Business

HighLevel is expanding well beyond CRM and marketing automation. With meetings, events, project management, custom apps, content creation, and more advanced AI capabilities, businesses have additional opportunities to simplify their systems.

But more features don’t automatically mean a better process. The real value comes from choosing the tools that solve a problem, implementing them thoughtfully, and not creating a more complicated system in the name of efficiency.

Whether you’re building your own HighLevel agency or looking for a practical way to use these tools in your business, Marketecs can help you explore the options.
