  • 7 weeks prior to your pre-event, notify your team and have a meeting.
  • 6 weeks out, clarify the concept/product, hold a marketing & operations meeting, and start drafting copy.
  • 4 weeks out, set up your pre-event webinar or lead magnet opt in, get any necessary technology in place, and begin social media testing.
  • 3 weeks out, optimize social media and send any snail mail (if this applies to you).
  • 2 weeks out, do a webinar test run, create your up-sell or program sales page, and get your press release ready.
  • 1 week out, finalize edits & test your technology.

This is just a basic summary – remember that you’ll need to schedule and send out associated emails too. These will go out to:
