Founder & CEO
Kathrine Farris
Kathrine, the CEO/Founder of Marketecs, is a highly organized automator, consultant, strategist & business/project manager.
She started the business in 2009, has a BA in Business Administration, and years of prior management, finance, and training experience. She also holds various certifications from Digital Marketer.
In her time away from her computer, Kathrine enjoys being outside – gardening, kayaking, camping, and hiking with all her boys.
Kathrine is a self-proclaimed chocoholic and coffee addict. And during ‘quiet time’, she enjoys reading, watching sports movies, and documenting the life-cycle of Monarch Butterflies.

Melanie V.
Melanie excels in proofreading, video editing, and content marketing. She’s well versed in creating newsletter campaigns and building landing pages with a keen eye for SEO. Mel holds a Social Media Certification through Digital Marketer.
Her medical and technical backgrounds, as well as her knack for details, frequently shine through as she supports our clients. She’s always an excellent team player.
For fun, Mel loves to play video games with her husband or do crafty stuff like cross-stitch, crochet, and assemble puzzles. Her favorite holiday is Halloween, so she loves everything scary!
In her downtime, Mel likes to kick back and watch TV with her 2 teen girls, husband (and high school sweetheart) and 2 dogs.

Rebecca W.
Rebecca brings over 20 years of marketing know-how to the table, with roots in everything from big names like Bayer to SaaS startups. She’s a true Marketing MacGyver – developing strategies that make a real difference for businesses of every size, and wearing every hat in the demand generation closet, including marketing ops. Her favorite part? Rolling up her sleeves to solve tough problems and building out tailored campaigns using tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, and Go High Level (just to name a few).
Rebecca’s sweet spot is helping small businesses thrive. She loves cheering them on as they chase big dreams. When she’s not deep in marketing tech, you’ll find her soaking up family life in North Carolina. At home, she and her husband are learning to navigate life with five adult children, a lively pack of dogs, and a few opinionated chickens. Home projects, creative upcycling, and seeking out new antiques are her jam.
Whether she’s brainstorming the next big campaign or collecting vintage treasures, Rebecca’s always got a creative spark—and a soft spot for building something amazing from the ground up.
Social Media Manager
Alexis D.
As our Social Media Manager, Alexis takes great pride in ensuring our clients’ social media channels are visually appealing and professionally maintained. She has a wealth of experience creating engaging social media content, orchestrating events, designing digital graphics, and managing various administrative tasks.
By actively serving on local non-profit boards and committees, Alexis plays a vital role in growing community engagement while also allowing her to organize and participate in exciting fundraising events.
Her passion for finding the best deals on designer, limited edition, and novelty handbags is a testament to her keen eye for quality and value. Her constantly expanding collection is a reflection of her dedication to her interests.
When she isn’t working, Alexis loves to travel, spend quality time with her friends and family, and unwind on the couch with her two fur-children.

Kate S.
Kate’s varied work history provides her with a unique perspective that allows her to easily adapt to a client’s particular wants and needs. Much of her experience has been with blog writing, social media content creation, event marketing, digital design, and administrative tasks. She enjoys the blend between the creative outlet of writing and designing and the more structured organizational side of things. #ListsAreLife
Kate balances work and daily life as a homeschooling mom to her three young children. You never know if you’ll find her baking cookies with her kids, plugging away at her laptop during naptime, or working on homeschool lessons.
In her spare time, Kate is happiest when reading, running, snowboarding, hiking, or just being in nature with her family and their wild pup Otto.
